Older Adults and Caregivers

Hope you are not the caregiver who, after an hour leaving the pharmacy, forgot where she had put her medication; three weeks later she found the medication in the cereal box. Believe me you are not alone! I encourage you to embrace the strength and power within to protect your physical and psychological health.

To protect your physical and psychological health, I encourage you to add a few suggestions to your already healthy behaviour, that allows renewed strength to manage stress and anxiety and create a life of balance. As you begin to hydrate, eat more healthy, take daily walks, find a reputable yoga studio to practice yoga, start a book club, monthly dinner club or whatever you enjoy doing, you will eventually look refreshed and feel younger. Be sociable; find positive friends and family in your environment.
